I just built a porch onto my house and sadly a few screws got stripped and were sticking out which created a hazard. I ordered this hoping for a solution other than ruining an entire piece of lumber wherever there was a stripped screw. - These do the job - These are well made - Variety of sizes for various screw types As a bonus, I even tried this is a roofing nail that was bent and lodged, and this puppy (the smallest one) was just enough to extract the screw without creating more damage. I have been wanting to purchase a set of these for a long time and I finally got the craps of trying to remove a stripped screw without using the correct tools. I found this pack which seemed to provide the best variety for the best price. They seem to be constructed well and have held up so far. I have been able to remove a few completely stripped out screws with no issues. Take my advice and spend the minimal amount of money to make removing stripped screws easy on yourself.; Comments(0)

There were a few screws I could not remove that have been around since before I bought my house. After receiving these I tried them out and they worked well. I have never used screw extractors before and I had to give a little more pressure than I was expecting, but after the extractor bit into the screw, it came out easily. For what it's worth, the screw appears to be galvanized steel.; Comments(0)
