By Jane M. 16-11-14: An okay set of holesaws for cutting tile

These fit pretty nicely into a standard drill. Careful when you're adding water as coolant not too splash the electrical part of your drill. Also be careful when adding water because this thing gets SLIPPERY! We followed some advice and did the drilling prior to laying the tile. I also had a bit of a solution to the slippage: Drill a hole in a throwaway piece of thin plywood that your holesaw of choice will *just* fit through. Then we held that plywood on to the tile above where we wanted the hole. Drill slowly, add water, and you should get through without ruining the tile. It will definitely take you a couple minutes, but rushed jobs never turn out well with renos anyway.; Comments(0)

These would be alright for a small crafty DIY project. Good Price - Great price if you only need it for a few holes. Works - I was able to drill 1 hole (20mm bit) on 10mm tile. If you are going to use this during renovations, do it before you put the tile down, and have backups just in case.; Comments(0)

I was surprised at these hole saws, as with some I've purchased over the years these are very hard. For the price you can't go wrong with these, they stay sharp and cut true. Overall I am very impressed with these. Have done a great job so far and I see years of service in them.; Comments(0)
